Custom paper converting takes paper from paper mills and cuts the paper down so that it can be used in the manufacturing process.

However, in manufacturing,  there is wide variety of manufacturing equipment. This equipment requires different roll widths and roll diameters. Therefore, a paper converter takes large rolls, unwinds the material into smaller widths, and rewinds the paper into new rolls. 

As a paper and film converting company, Corydon takes large rolls of paper or film and fabricates the rolls to meet our customer’s specifications. At Corydon, we have 18 rewinding, converting machines that slit or cut the paper into smaller widths and rewind the paper into new rolls.

Our rewinding equipment can handle master rolls of paper up to 63” wide. We can slit to your desired width via shear, scoring, or razor cutting. Corydon can shear, score, and razor-cut papers and films from 10mm-1.6m (.03737”-63″) widths and log slit as narrow as 1/16”.
